Payment Policy

Payment Policy

This page explains how payment works when you order from Soulona — what we accept, how pricing and currency work, and how we keep your payment information secure.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods at checkout:

  • Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments / Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details at any point.

Currency & Pricing

Prices are displayed and automatically converted into your local currency based on your shipping destination. The converted amount is an estimate — your bank or card provider sets the final exchange rate applied to the transaction, and it may differ slightly from the price shown at checkout.

If your card is issued in a different currency than your order, your bank may also charge a foreign transaction fee. This fee is set by your bank, not by us.

Taxes

Whether tax is included in the price you see depends on your country. Where we're required to collect sales tax, VAT, or GST at checkout, it will be calculated automatically based on your shipping address and shown as a separate line item before you pay. Where tax isn't collected at checkout, you may be responsible for import taxes or duties on delivery — see our Shipping Policy for details.

When You're Charged

Your payment method is charged in full at the time you place your order, not when it ships. If any item in your order is unavailable, we'll contact you about a refund or replacement for that item rather than charging you for something we can't fulfill.

Payment Security

All transactions are encrypted and processed through a PCI-compliant payment gateway. We never store your full card number, CVV, or banking details on our servers. For your safety, we may request additional verification on orders that our fraud-detection system flags as unusual — this can briefly delay processing.

Declined or Failed Payments

If your payment is declined, double-check your card details, billing address, and available balance, then try again. Declines most often come from the card issuer, not from us — if the issue persists, your bank can usually tell you why. Orders with a failed payment are not processed or reserved.
